He is a member of the Colegio de Cirujanos Dentistas de Quintana Roo and The American Academy of Periodontology. Continuing education is important in Dr. Zapata's office. As a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, Dr. Zapata shows his belief in continuing education. Dr. Zapata attends many hours of courses, symposiums in Mexico and the U.S every year, far beyond the necessary amount required to maintain licensure. They include lectures, hands-on courses, and practice management programs. He also gives time to educate the dental profession, giving lectures every year. Dr. Zapata works very closely with a team of excellent dental specialists, including Endodontics, Orthodontics, Restorative Dentistry and Maxillofacial surgery to ensure that patients receive the very best in dental treatment in their goal to achieve a beautiful, functional and healthy smile.
